Las Gemelas Beach is a paradise of fine amber sand and crystal-clear bluish-green waters, characterized by being divided into two small bays. It offers a serene atmosphere and tranquil environment, with waves that are usually soft to moderate, ideal for swimming and relaxing.
Take a bus heading to Mismaloya or Boca de Tomatlán from the corner of Constitución and Basilio Badillo streets (Romantic Zone). Ask to be dropped off near Condominio Girasol Sur; the beach access is there. Use a taxi or Uber/rideshare service and ask to go to "Playa Las Gemelas" or "Condominio Girasol Sur" on Barra de Navidad Highway (South Zone).
The access hours are approximately 9 am to 8 pm. Arrive early so you can choose the shade under a tree that is there. If you don't bring beach furniture, you can rent it there starting from $250 pesos for your entire stay. There are no restrooms, but there is food and fruit available; bring your own water. Access is via a staircase about two stories high and is not accessible for people with mobility disabilities. There is no secure parking, so you will have to park about 100 meters away from the access point.
