This beach is located in front of the Hilton Vallarta Riviera All-Inclusive Resort. It is an easily accessible beach with calm, crystalline waters, making it popular for safe swimming and water activities like snorkeling and kayaking. It is situated in the South Hotel Zone, offering beautiful views of Banderas Bay and the Sierra Madre mountains.
How to get there
Taxi / Uber This is the fastest and simplest way. Ask the driver to take you to the Hilton Vallarta Riviera All-Inclusive Resort. The public beach access is located at the far end of the hotel, right next to the Hotel Playa Fiesta Inn. The driver will drop you off near this access point. Public Transportation Route: Take the bus on the MISMALOYA Route (the same one that passes by Conchas Chinas) or any bus heading south on the Coastal Highway. Alighting Stop: Ask to get off right at the Hilton Vallarta Riviera Hotel stop (or Grand Fiesta Americana, which is very close). Private Car Route: From downtown Puerto Vallarta, drive south along the Carretera Costera a Barra de Navidad/México 200. Access and Parking: You can look for space to park on the side of the highway, on the beach side. The public access to the beach is right in that area, at the end of the Hilton and next to the Hotel Playa Fiesta Inn, and you descend to the sand via a slope.
Expert tip
This is a clean beach suitable for the whole family. The best part is right in front of the hotel because there are breakwaters (rompe olas) which allow for calmer waves. Additionally, this section of the beach does not have small rocks, so you can walk barefoot while swimming or strolling. The other part of the beach, which is usually deserted, does have rocks and stronger waves, but it is generally calm, especially during the rainy season from June to the end of October. Arrive early if you bring your own car to find parking, as spaces are limited. It is best to bring your own water and food, and be aware that this beach does not have restrooms. Access may be difficult for people with reduced mobility or the elderly.
