Expert tip
his beach is not recommended for swimming or for children, especially during the rainy season from June to late October, as the surf can be high and dangerous. The beach is known for its contamination due to the Pitillal River that empties here. It is also possible to find crocodiles lurking during the rainy season. Restrooms are located outside the Oasis restaurant or inside it, costing an average of $10 Mexican pesos to use. If you want a massage, you can find this service here. The beach is very wide, making it suitable for playing sports, and it remains well-visited at night by many people who come to watch the sunset or enjoy a picnic with friends or a partner. It has ample parking and is considered very safe, potentially making it one of the most accessible beaches in all of Puerto Vallarta.
