Madagascar Beach

About this beach
Full description
Playa Madagascar is a semi-virgin destination located in Cabo Corrientes (south of Puerto Vallarta), which becomes very popular during the high season (November to April). It is a hidden paradise between the jungle and the sea, known for its crystal-clear, calm waters, gentle waves, and sand with golden to orange hues. It is only accessible by sea (water taxi) or via a hiking trail from Boca de Tomatlán.
How to get there
The only way to get there is by taking a water taxi (panga) from Boca de Tomatlán (the fastest route) or by following a hiking trail that starts in Boca de Tomatlán.
Expert tip
You can pay for a water taxi to take you there and pick you up. The price may vary, but on average it costs $300 pesos per person. They can drop you off there, and you can continue on to Las Ánimas and ask the boat operator to pick you up there later. Remember that after 6 PM, there are usually no water taxis available unless you have hired someone privately.
