This covered market, inaugurated in 1979, is the main traditional and handicraft market in downtown Puerto Vallarta. It has two levels: the main floor is packed with stalls selling souvenirs, traditional Mexican clothing, jewelry, leather goods, textiles, candies, and Huichol art. On the upper level (second floor), you will find several food stands where you can enjoy authentic Mexican antojitos (street snacks), seafood, and local dishes at affordable prices. It is a bustling place full of history, perfect for finding that ideal keepsake from your trip.
Monday to Sunday. Time: Generally from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (although some food stalls may open earlier, around 7:00 AM).
